Fibre Ultra Rich Plantago + Inulin incorporates hibiscus flowers, licorice root, and cloves to provide soothing relief, while serving as a reliable source of fiber to gently alleviate constipation. Psyllium husks, known as a bulk-forming laxative, are rich in both fiber and mucilage.
An exceptional natural fiber source, Fibre Ultra Rich Plantago + Inulin features psyllium, a bulk-forming laxative that boasts high levels of both fiber and mucilage, with psyllium containing 10–30% mucilage. The laxative effects of psyllium stem from the husk swelling upon contact with water, creating a gelatinous mass that keeps feces hydrated and soft when taken with sufficient water. This increased bulk prompts a reflex contraction of the bowel walls, facilitating bowel movements.

Directions
Adults ≥ 19 years old: Take 1 teaspoon twice daily. For each gram of psyllium, take with 30 ml of liquid (water, milk, fruit juice, or similar aqueous beverage). Drink immediately and maintain adequate fluid intake. Effects observed 12- 24 hours after the first dose; results may take 2-3 days. If you are taking other Health Products, take this product 2 hours before or after them. Avoid long-term use, and consult a health-Wellness-Care practitioner for use beyond 6 weeks. Also take 1-2 capsules of enteric-coated Acidophilus Ultra each day. Start progressively or as directed by your health-Wellness-Wellness-Car-e practitioner. This Acidophilus Ultra capsule is protected by an enteric coating. The capsule must survive stomach acids and be delivered to the small intestine in order to work. The beneficial activity of acidophilus capsules without an enteric coating is destroyed in the stomach by stomach acids.
Contains no: Gluten, soy, wheat, com, eggs, dairy, yeast, citrus, preservatives, artificial flavour or colour, starch, or sugar.
Cautions and warnings
Consult a health-Wellness-Wellness-Car-e practitioner if symptoms worsen or if laxative effect does not occur within 7 days; if you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty swallowing or breathing after taking the product. Consult a health-Wellness-Care practitioner prior to use if you are taking Health Products which inhibit peristaltic movement (e.g. opioids, loperamide); if you have symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, or fever (as these could be signs of abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, disease of the esophagus and/or the superior opening of the stomach [cardial, potential or existing intestinal blockage, paralysis of the intestine, megacolon, fecal impaction, inflamed bowel, or appendicitis); if sore throat or cough persist for more than 3 days; if you are taking any prescription medication; if liver function is impaired; if you are taking acetaminophen or anticoagulants. Not for prolonged use in high doses except under supervision of a qualified health-Wellness-Care practitioner. Contraindicated for diabetes and in hypertension, liver disorders, severe kidney insufficiency, and hypokalemia. May potentiate potassium depletion of thiazide diuretics and stimulant laxatives as well as the action of cardiac glycosides and cortisol. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
Contraindications
Do not use if you are experiencing a sudden change in bowel habits that has persisted for more than 2 weeks, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, or failure to defecate following the use of another laxative product; if you have diabetes mellitus in which blood sugars are difficult to regulate; if you have difficulty swallowing; if you are experiencing distention and fullness of the chest and abdomen; if you are vomiting from overabundant dampness; if you have edema, hypertension, hypokalemia, cholestatic disorders, cirrhosis of the liver, chronic renal insufficiency, or congestive Cardio Health failure; if you are pregnant or breast-feeding; if you are undergoing corticosteroid; or if you suffer from febrile disorder.
Known adverse reactions
Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur following inhaled and/or ingested psyllium; in which case, discontinue use. May cause temporary gas and/or bloating. Consult a health-Wellness-Wellness-Car-e practitioner in the event of an allergic reaction, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
Notice: This product should be taken with at least a full glass of liquid. Taking this product without enough liquid may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty swallowing.
