IBgard for Irritable Bowel Syndrome is a triple coated peppermint oil capsule. The IBgard difference is a sustained release of microspheres of Ultramen which is ultra-purified peppermint oil formulated for the relief of IBS symptoms. This sustained-release is a targeted delivery system of the peppermint oil right to the small intestines. This technology allows the microspheres of the peppermint oil to get where it’s needed most which helps to improve and relieve symptoms of IBS within about 24 hours. Most symptoms of IBS occur within 90 minutes of eating, this reflects the time it takes for food to make it to the small intestine.
