Tinkyada Brown Rice Lasagne:
Brown Rice, Water
Cook 1 to 2 minutes in boiling water and stir gently. Switch off stove. Cover pot for about 12 minutes. Ready to serve. The good texture of Tinkyada can withstand quite a bit of over-cooking.
Direct-to-Oven Cooking Method
8 pieces of lasagne, 9×13″/23×33 cm ~3 Qt./2.85 L baking dish 23 oz./680 ml tomato sauce (add 7-10 oz./200-300 ml water to thin the sauce) Pre-heat oven to 375° F. Apply olive oil to bottom of container and a layer of sauce. Place 4 lasagne pieces into the container, add vegetables and/or meat, ricotta cheese, cover the layer with sauce completely. Place another 4 pieces of lasagne, add ingredients, cover the lasagne surface with sauce completely and lavishly. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover container with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then broil uncovered for 2-5 minutes for a golden cheese crust (Guidelines only)
