Product Description

Hawthorn II by AOR

Flavenoids are the chemicals found in plants that so often give us medical benefits. The flavenoids found in hawthorn have three specific and significant effects on hearth health:

  • increased small blood vessel resiliancy (important in reducing bleeding stroke risk.)
  • reducing atherosclerotic deposits
  • hindering the action of angiotensin-converting enzyme (increases blood pressure and usually the target of ACE inhibitors.)

In addition to these relevant and beneficial flavenoids, hawthorn also contains many other elements that have been determined as factors in improving heart health.
