Nattokinase is an enzyme that is isolated from Natto. Natto is a traditional Japanese soy that is fermented with numerous health promoting properties. Nattokinase has been shown to help promote circulatory and heart health. As we age our bodies enzymes that help break down an agent called fibrin (which thickenings the blood) decrease as we age. Nattokinase reinforces the plasmin actions of the blood by helping to maintain normal fibrinogen levels in the blood.
