Please note that even with express shipping, we cannot guarantee that Mutaflor will arrive cool. However, no harm is done to the product if left below room temperature for about 7 days. After prolonged exposure to heat, the product will lose a small amount of its potency, but will not be harmful in any way. Typically probiotics lose about 10% of their potency per month when they become warm. We cannot offer refunds on Mutaflor due to the temperature you receive it at. Mutaflor, first isolated in 1917, is a probiotic comprising of a viable non-pathogenic bacteria strain named Escherichia coli Nissle 1917. Over the last century it has shown through clinical studies effectiveness in preventing relapse and maintenance of remission of ulcerative colitis.
