OptiFer Alpha Heme Iron

Optifer Heme Iron is made with 11mg of heme iron. The body absorbs heme-iron through specific receptors throughout the small intestine. Heme-iron is found naturally in foods such as meat, poultry and fish. Iron is needed for red cell production and maintenance. Some of the symptoms of iron deficiency anemia include fatigue, pale face, dry skin and brittle nails, constipation, headaches, dizziness, loss of appetite and decreased immunity.
Each Tablet:
Elemental Iron (heme iron) – 11mg
Non-Medicinal Ingredients:
Isomalt, Microcrystalline cellulose, Steric acid, Croscarmellose, Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, Magnesium salts, Silicon dioxide, Iron oxide
Adults: Take 1 tablet 3 times daily or as recommended by your health care professional. Pregnant Women: Take 1 tablet 3 times daily or as recommended by your health care professional. Take with food. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications.
