Red Yeast Rice has been traditionally used as a flavouring and colouring agent in Asain cuisine and is valued by many Asain herbalists. NOW carefully produces it’s Red Yeast Rice avoiding the presence of citrin. Citrinin is an unwanted by-product during the fermentation of Red Yeast Rice.
