How to use your filter:
When using your filter for the first time, boil in fresh water to clean and shrink for 10 minutes.
Use your favourite method of brewing, then add your desired amount of coffee grounds. Brew your coffee. After brewing and the grounds are cooled, discard the grounds. (keep in mind that grounds are great for compost) Rinse your filter thoroughly and let dry.
To remove accumulated coffee oils boil your filter in fresh water every 4-6 weeks. If your filter becomes soiled with other perishables boil for at least 5 minutes to sanitize the filter.
