Himalayan salt lamps are lit from within causing them to cast a warm orange glow, which is an attractive decorative addition to any room. Whenever Himalayan salt lamps are heated they release negative ions to help create a healthier environment.
How does the Salt Lamp Work?
When the salt crystal is heated it pulls water molecules from the air to the surface of the crystal, the water mixes with the solution of water to neutralises any positive ions and pollutions. It then emits the neutralized molecules back into its environment.
Where can I use a salt lamp?
Himalayan Salt lamps are perfect for use near computers, televisions, spaces with air-conditioning, in meditation rooms, or anywhere you like to preserve the air quality.
Carrying for salt lamp
The salt will attract moisture, and should not be washed or used in humid rooms. If the lamp starts to show signs of dampness turning the lamp on will dry them out. Just make sure that all electrical parts are dry before using the lamp. Salt lamps can be dusted with a soft brush. The bulb can be changed by taking out the light fitting at the base. Tea light candles can be replaced at the top of the crystal.
