Organic Licorice Root is an herbal tea that is traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as an expectorant to help relieve chest complaints, such as catarrhs, coughs and bronchitis.

Traditional Medicinal Licorice Root Tea Ingredients

Medicinal ingredients: Each tea bag (1.5g) contains: Organic licorice root* (Glycyrrhiza glabra) 1,500 mg.

Each tea bag is safety sealed in a tamper-evident envelope.

Traditional Medicinal Licorice Root Tea Directions

Adults: Drink 1 cup (1 tea bag) 2 to 4 times daily. Adolescents 14 years and older: Drink 1 cup (1 tea bag) 2 to 4 times daily. Adolescents 10 to 14 years: Drink 1 cup (1 tea bag) 1 to 3 times daily. Children 5 to 9 years: Drink 1 cup (1 tea bag) 1 to 2 times daily. Children 4 to 5 years: Drink 1 cup (1 tea bag) ½ to 1 times daily.

Pour 240 mL freshly boiled water over 1 tea bag and steep, covered, for 10-15 minutes. Gently squeeze the tea bag to release the remaining extractive.

Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4-6 weeks.

Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a liver disorder, or are pregnant.

Do not use if you have hypokalemia, high blood pressure, or a kidney or cardiovascular disorder. Do not use if you are taking thiazide diuretics, cardiac glycosides, corticosteroids, stimulant laxatives or other medications which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance.
